Miracles
So this week I'm really thankful for miracles that come from Fasting and Obedience and also for my companion.
All week we had trouble teaching investigators but we found lots of less actives so we took advantage of what was there and we taught them but I was worried about church on Sunday. But then out of nowhere, on Saturday night the assistants asked if they could help us take people to church and I was kinda thinking dang this is going to be embarrassing. But we did it and out of nowhere people came. We had 6 in church and 3 with baptismal dates. So things are picking up big time and I'm super excited to see what is going to happen in the next coming weeks cause conference is just going to make it better.
Elder Criddle is doing super great and seriously is way farther ahead of where the rest of the newbies are. Seriously so much better than I was at that point. So it's a blessing to see that excitement and hard work and dedication. It helps motivate me even more and keeps me working hard. Also he reminds me of the little things that I sometimes have pass by. But seriously its great to work with him.
But I know that things go great when we work hard and trust in the Lord now we just gotta keep focusing on the most important parts and the Lord will bless us even more. Either way we just gotta lose ourselves in the work.
Today I was thinking and I need to stop stressing about stuff that doesn't matter. I am going to start asking myself if this is going to matter in 5 years. Cause if not, it doesn't really matter much. But either way, being happy is the most important part.
Conference this week- it will be great!

Great video talks
Well this week was kind of tough. Not that tough but I'm not as energetically excited as I was before.
Pretty much we got super excited seeing all the people we had and the steps that they were taking and we counted our chickens before they hatched. At the end it seems like no one is really progressing and the most sure that we had are falling through. I know it happens for a reason but I'm just trying to remind myself why.
We had a conference with President Dennis and we saw alot of cool videos there. That included a great video of Pres. Eyring and Elder Holland talking about callings and the atonement and missionary work and how it all mixes together. Seriously it was great. Two talks in one.
I know this is a kinda short email but I don't feel like there is that much to say. I am still working well. I am learning to be more patient but I feel like I forget it at times. I just gotta keep making my self better cause there is so much that I lack. But that's what the atonement is for. Well either way I'm learning little by little and know that there are great blessing in play if I just keep on trying. Sometimes we need to just plant seeds and know that it will all work out in the end.

Potential
I am excited about the baptism we had this Saturday ya!!!! It was a kid who is super great and his grandpa baptized him. Everyone asks if he really is 8 but I saw his ID and well, he is. But he's a great little kid and should do great. We never had to encourage or stop by for him to get him to church, to the interview or the baptism. He just came and was always super excited.
Last week I was super pumped for the work. We had some people fall through last week but we have some great potential this week and this month and for October. It's crazy to think of how fast time flies here. We are already planning October.
Oh and today I got the dreaded "Trunky" Email from the Mission Secretary. They asked for my flight details of how to get home and my parents info. So he should buy that flight fairly soon. Dang it's crazy to think about.
But this week went pretty well. Everyone is working great and we have potential to start doing some super great things. I know that the Lord will help us out a lot when we just put our part in. Either way things are going great and I know that the Lord wants to bless us if we just get lost in the work.
Also today was funny cause we started wrestling with the other elders and then they started flipping over the beds and just making a mess but it was pretty funny. I really thought it was pretty entertaining. We were all pretty tired afterwards. But it's funny cause I remember seeing things like this when I started my mission and saying like "dang this is weird" but I guess my humor has changed haha.
Either way things are going great and I'm excited to see what we can do in the future.

My new hijo
Well this week I got the news that I would be training again. This time it would be different though. I found out that he would be a gringo. So I'm a ZL that is opening a sector and training a gringo. So lots of stress. But the good thing is that my comp is super smart and he will be great as soon as he starts to understand the people more. He already speaks really well. Way better than I did. He just needs to get the ear for it and he will be super great. I'm not too worried,
But we hit the ground running. The ward mission leader showed us around the sector and then we placed 2 dates for the 13th of September. We even have more opportunities but we just gotta keep working.
Our ward had had really low attendence for a while so they had threatened to make it a branch. They said that if there wasn't 100 people at the ward conference then it would be a branch. And we had... 118! So we got saved. It was the highest attendance since like January. So we just gotta keep working and it will keep going up. But don't worry. I am just glad that the ward is ready to work.
So this week I really got to see how many blessing the Lord gives us if we just put our all into the work. I remember getting to the field and feeling horrible for a while but after just trusting in the Lord, I got to understand the language little by little. But overall its just great to see all that happens to give us success. But either way things are going super great.
We had alot of oportunities to do good this week and we were able to do it. I know that the Lord is with us when we put our effort into the work. I know this is His work and that it depends on us on if we want to receive the blessings. I know that this is His church and that is was restored by a prophet. I know that it is currently lead by a prophet and that it will always be led by a prophet.
I'm excited to see what blessing we can receive this week.
