A different Vision
So this week we had to look for new people but we didn't have to much success in that. We even had a day looking just for investigators. But then on Saturday night we had our only investigator who is progressing told us that he would be traveling every Sunday and then would move to another part of Ecuador when he finished traveling. I was heartbroken. Then we went to the stake conference and I understood why. We need to make sure we are not just focused on the investigators but also on the less actives. With that I realized that we are having success with the Less actives and that we can do even better there. So we just need to prioritize our time and things will be fine. The Lord will bless us if we just do what he asked us to do. So now im thinking different than last week and I'm excited to keep working on this great work. But truly we have lots of potential this week. We just gotta do it right.
Also I realize that I've been getting "trunky" in some of the little things so I gotta make sure I do it all the right way so that I don't lose the end of my mission. So lots of little changes to be made for a big final result.
I'm glad that I'm able to keep working and that the things are going well but I now know that we cannot just expect things to stay the same but we need to go out and get it.

Wow a good week!
This was a great week for us. We ended up having 3 baptisms and a Rescue. It was great cause we have nearly filled all of our goals for this month. We have already exceeded our goal for baptisms. So I'm glad about that. But now I'm a bit worried about November. We are finding new people and helping the ones we have to progress. We have a few people but I'm still concerned.
This week was great cause I've seen lots of cool things from Elder Criddle. He baptized for the first time, confirmed for the first time and gave a talk for the first time all within 24 hours. He was stressed but it came out great.
Today we went to the Igauana park (again) and it was great. This is the first time that the banana thing worked really well. A huge iguana just climbed all over me and nearly kissed me and it was sick. Got some great photos and videos.
Other than that the work is doing great. I am doing great with my comp and things are flowing really really well. Now I feel like I need to give more attention to the zone and help the rest stand up to shine. But either way listening to conference more will help out a bunch.
As for the photos of this week. I haven't had much luck with this computer but I will keep trying.
Oh and today for breakfast I made Patacones. It's a traditional Ecuadorian snack. It's green Platano fried and smushed and fried again. And I had it with cheese. It was pretty good. I was proud of my self.
Also today we had a wrestling match in the house. It was pretty sick. But no one got hurt so that was really good.
Exitos,

A good week in a couple of ways
Well this week we tried to focus on the less actives that have attendance and an interview so we can teach the lessons and they can be Rescued. It was good except for the fact that the investigators kinda ended up slipping through the cracks.
But overall I can see the the zone is picking lot more and that things are going well. One thing that went well was that we were able to meet with 8 when in the past 3 weeks there was a total of 6. So we are doing alot better. But there was a problem and we couldn't finish teaching them. It kinda turned into a bit of a joke at what happened but oh well, things happen.
But there is a family who is from Italy and knows Elder Payne my good buddy and well, they are teaching us Italian. I even have a copy of "If You could Hie to Kolob" in Italian and we are going to learn it. So that's fun. Also we now have a book of Mormon in Italian so I got a picture with all the different copies of the Book of Mormon that we have in the house. Quechua ( indigenous language in Ecuador), Italian, English and Spanish. I am pretty much fluent in them all. ha ha
But overall things are good. Yesterday was my comps bday so we celebrated in pretty much every single visit we did. It was cool. Lots of cake and sweets. Then at the apartment we celebrated with the other Elders. Oh but in all reality things are going well but I just can't think of too much out of the norm things that happened this week.
Oh except the fact that we have a favorite taco shop in our sector. There isn't much Mexican food here so it's great to find one. It's called "Jesu Cristo El Rey" And it's great. The guy lived in LA for a while and so he learned to make them there. The Assistants came with us to get it one time. It was good.
